Pressure controlled sequence valve working principle

The figure above illustrates a pressure controlled sequence valve working principle. The spring tension which holds the piston can be adjusted to obtain opening pressure.  The fluid will flow through the valve from inlet port to the primary outlet port. Inside the valve, the fluid pressure also work against the spring through the lower piston surface.

The pressure will increase if the primary actuating unit has completed its sequence, the increasing pressure will raise the piston so the fluid can flow through the secondary outlet port.
