Hydraulic restrictor valve is used to reduce the fluid flow rate which decreased the actuator speed movement. There are two main type of restrictor, fixed type and variable restrictor. Variable restrictor is made from a modified needle valve; the valve is used to alter the operating time of a system or subsystem.
